Copenhagen Wolves and FlipSid3 have both qualified for DreamHack Winter from the last-chance qualifier. Four European teams gathered today at Inferno Online Stockholm to determine which two would get the last places in DH Winter's CS:GO tournament following the disqualifications of Titan and Epsilon. The semi-final stage paired CPH Wolves against 3DMAX and Flipsid3 Tactics against London Conspiracy, with the winners automatically securing places in the $250,000 major. Joona "natu" Leppänen's side came out the brighter and won the opening map of the series, de_mirage, with a 16-7 scoreline, but then the Danish team picked themselves up and posted 16-12 and 16-14 wins on de_nuke and de_dust2, respectively.
The other semi-final match was settled on just two maps, with FlipSid3 picking up a 2-0 success over London Conspiracy after two 16-13 victories on de_cache and de_inferno. The two winners then faced each other to determine who would get to pick the DH Winter group in which they wanted to be placed. CPH Wolves eased past FlipSid3 16-6 on de_cobblestone and picked Group B, where they will face dignitas, iBUYPOWER and PENTA Sports. The groups for the $250,000 major, which kicks off on November 27, now look as follows:
